- About HABCO Test Equipment
Commitment to a Culture of Innovation
HABCO, Inc. provides ground support and testing equipment to the United States armed forces, commercial aerospace manufacturers, industrial and power generation providers and medical device manufacturers. Many of HABCO's Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE) and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products are approved for servicing both rotary and fixed wing aircraft. HABCO also produces customized prototypes and products to meet unique client needs. The company was founded by Henry A. Backmann, a former Pratt & Whitney Aircraft engineer, in 1970, as a vendor to United Technologies Corp. and its divisions, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Hamilton Sundstrand and Sikorsky Aircraft. The company expanded its product line to meet the needs of all engine OEMS, airline maintenance shops and MROs worldwide.
HABCO continues to diversify its offerings by designing and building test equipment for the aerospace, power generation, and industial industries. HABCO has become very successful in turning "custom" equipment into standard product offerings to save the customer time and money.
