| HABCO TO SUPPLY AF1000M TO LASERDYNE SYSTEMS |

HABCO is pleased to announce the sale of an AF1000M air flow test stand to PRIMA North America LASERDYNE SYSTEMS as part of their FlowComp™ offering. HABCO is the sole supplier to LASERDYNE SYSTEMS for airflow technology and has worked closely with LASERDYNE SYSTEMS engineers to develop this new capability. The HABCO AF1000M is being integrated with a LASERDYNE 795/CL50k drilling system to provide closed loop air flow compensation to a manufacturing process. This closed loop system will ultimately increase manufacturing productivity and lower overall production cost by eliminating rework and scrap. Users of the system will have a manufacturing center that can identify and correct production issues real time without intervention of laser specialists and air flow technicians. HABCO is celebrating its 40th year serving the aerospace and industrial test markets by opening a 50,000 square foot production facility in Glastonbury, CT USA. Our 40th year anniversary also marks the roll out of a new line of air flow test stands that have been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine markets. Visit http://www.habcotest.com/test-equipment-solutions/Test%20Stands-53.html for information on this exciting new line of test stands. According to Mike Landry, Air Flow Product Manager at HABCO; “Sales of air flow test stands in the last two quarters have broken all previous records. This is a reflection of the increasing improvement in the turbine engine market, the importance component manufacturers and their customers place on airflow testing and finally a positive reaction to our efforts in engineering and manufacturing to provide high quality / low cost offerings. Our new line up of standardized air flow test stands has given our customers the ability to chose an off the shelf solution and real world service options that provide testing solutions with the lowest total cost of ownership .” LASERDYNE SYSTEMS is part of PRIMA North America, Inc. http://www.prima-na.com/ and is recognized as the premier provider of precision laser processing systems for producing components used in land and aero turbine engines. LASERDYNE SYSTEMS designs, manufactures and markets worldwide multi-axis numerically controlled machines that integrate laser, motion system and process sensors for precision drilling, welding and cutting of 3D parts. It has the largest number of systems of any manufacturer for land and aero turbine engines in the world with customers across North America, Europe and Asia. |
